Oh, haha hey. I’m Cassie, and I’m a writer and HubSpot-certified content marketing strategist. 

How am I different from other content creators? A few things:

  • I have a marketing background. While I’ve been writing professionally for five years, I’ve been in online marketing for seven. Which means: I’m not just an arteest; I write with goals. Business goals.
  • I’m a strategist, too. I don’t simply create content—I also map content to strategy. I “get” lead gen, SEO, demand gen, branding, PR, etc.
  • I come with ideas. I’ll totally accept assignments, but I’ll also track your industry’s news, your keywords, your competitors’ content, your sales team’s notes—and I’ll come to you with ideas for topics we should tackle.
  • I’ve worked in business settings. I know Slack, Skype, Hangouts, Zoom, Basecamp, Asana, Trello, WordPress, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Moz—even the agile methodology. I’ll fit right into your team’s workflow.

What Do You Charge?

I believe excellent content and effective content marketing can only happen if you make an effort to really “live” in the world of your prospects, so my approach includes regular tracking of industry news and publications. This way, we’re always communicating from a fully informed place, and making topic and messaging adjustments based on what’s top of mind for our audience. (It’s also helpful for generating social media and newsletter content.) Because I go so deep, I typically work on a retainer basis with my clients.

Most frequently, we do a set number of blogs per month, and then add on a varying mix of ebooks/bylines/landing pages/whatever. Here are the per-piece prices:

  • blog (long-form, w/ links): $500
  • byline/contributed article: $600
  • ebook/guide/whitepaper: $1800 for 5 pages of copy, $100 per additional page
  • landing page copy: $200
  • infographic copy: $600
  • copy for newsletters, emails, website pages, ads, case studies, other stuff: varies. Let’s talk.

A note on edits: These are premium rates for premium work, so my prices include all the revisions it takes to make you happy (though I’m pretty good at nailing it the first time). BUT! If you go changing the scope of work on me, that’ll be additional dollars.
